Since 2008, the Beat Breast Cancer Mud Volleyball Tournament has been helping families battling breast cancer by raising money in a way that is affordable and most importantly, fun for our participants. Each year new recipients are chosen and in 2012 we were able to give $10,000 to two families.  The tournament has grown to an eight pit, 256 team tournament with an estimated 3,000 people in attendance.

Our success is because we want you to be able to help someone in need, but still have a good time and take home a great memory. We are the biggest mud volleyball tournament in Nebraska. Along with the mud volleyball, there’s music, food, side games and lots more fun. So get your teams together, invade the tiny town of Prague (only 1 hour drive from Omaha and Lincoln) and register here starting June 3, 2012.

Let’s PLAY DIRTY & FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT!

2012 Recipients

In 2012 the Beat Breast Cancer Mud Volleyball Tournament will be helping two families. Thanks to the growth and support from the Village of Prague and all those who participate or attend we feel we can make an even bigger difference in some families lives. Our 2012 Recipients are Sarah Classen and Julie Busch.

Sarah Classen, Humphrey, NE

Sarah Classen is a 31 year old mother of three. She and her husband Ken live in Humphrey, NE. Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. Tragically this is not her first experience with cancer. Sarah and Ken lost their five year old son, Kenton, to brain cancer in 2011.

Julie Busch, Omaha, NE

Julie Busch is a 40-year-old mother of two living in Omaha. Julie has already beaten melanoma cancer and is now fighting breast cancer. Julie’s husband Greg has also been diagnosed with Huntington’s disease.

We hope that you will join us on July 14th and help raise money for both families.
